About the Grand Opera House

FSBT's performing home is the mainstage of Wilmington’s Grand Opera House. The Grand’s box office sells tickets to all FSBT Grand Opera House shows. You may purchase tickets by calling the Grand box office at 1-800-37-GRAND, online (option not available the actual date of performance) or by visiting the box office in person. Discounts are not available online. The box office’s Will Call window opens one hour before each show.

The Grand Box Office Hours:
• 10 AM - 5 PM Monday - Friday
•12 PM - 4 PM Saturdays
•One hour before show time through the end of the first intermission on all show days

The box office is located on the Market Street side of the theater to the right of the main theater doors. Ushers, FSBT staff and Grand Opera House staff are available throughout the main lobby and theater and will be happy to provide directions or answer questions.

Wheel chair accessibility

The Grand is fully ADA compliant. Wheelchair patrons can enter the Grand from Market Street or King Street. Please advise box office personnel of special needs when you order tickets.

Food and Drink Policy

Light snacks and refreshments can be purchased at the concession stand before and after the show and during intermission(s), however, food and drink are not permitted in the theater. If you plan to dine before the performance, please leave adequate time to get to the theater.


Parking

There are many safe and convenient parking options around the Grand Opera House.

On-Street Parking is available on most streets near the Grand, but be sure to check street signs for parking restrictions. Parking Regulation Enforcement Officers work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. through 6:00p.m. They do not enforce parking laws before or after those hours. Neither Parking Regulation Enforcement Officers nor the Wilmington Police Department enforce limited-time parking at meters on weekends and holidays. Patrons are not required to deposit coins on those days.

Nearby Parking Lots include the lot under the DoubleTree Hotel at 7th and King Street, the Wilmington Parking Authority on Orange Street between 8th and 9th streets, and Colonial Parking on both Shipley Street and Orange Street between 7th and 8th streets.
