Olivia Grace Sparling

OLIVIA GRACE SPARLING began studying classical ballet at the age of eight at Westside Ballet in her hometown of Los Angeles, California. She was coached by Martine Harley, Yvonne Mounsey, and Francine Kessler. At the age of 13, Olivia started training at the Marat Daukayev Ballet School. In 2014 she was accepted to study in Moscow at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy under the direction of Mikhail Lavrovsky and Marina Leonova, where she studied under Ludmila Kovalenko and Anna Antonicheva. Olivia graduated from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in 2018 with Honors in the Russian language. In September of 2018 she began her traineeship with Ballet Nacional de Catalunya under the artistic direction of Elias Garcia. She later became an apprentice with Ballet de Barcelona in 2019 under the artistic direction of Chase Johnsey. Olivia became a trainee with Orlando Ballet in 2020 and jointed Orlando Ballet II in 2021. Last season she was featured in Don Quixote as Kitri's Friend and Honey Cake in The Nutcracker. Olivia is looking forward to her second season with First State Ballet Theatre.
