Kate Heulitt

KATE HEULITT was born and raised in Middlesex, New Jersey. She began her training at Central Jersey Dance and Gymnastics. In 2014 she also joined New Jersey Dance Theater Ensemble (NJDTE), where she trained under Nancy Turano. She continued her training at Marymount Manhattan College, where, in 2021, she earned a BFA in Dance. Her professional career has included touring with Connecticut Ballet and Chevalier Ballet, where she danced excerpts from Walpurgis Night, Swan Lake, and La Bayadère. Here at FSBT Kate has danced the roles of Moyna in Giselle, Dracula’s Bride in Dracula, Coffee in The Nutcracker, and Nomad Queen in Don Quixote. Kate enjoys doing outreach performances and hopes to continue bringing smiles to people's faces with her dancing. This is her third season with First State Ballet Theatre.
