Summer Intensive Program
The mission of The School of First
State Ballet Theatre is, “Training
Tomorrow’s Dancers for the World Stage.” Our
school occupies spacious studios located in Wilmington
’s historic Grand Opera House, our distinguished
international faculty teaches the Vaganova Syllabus of
classical Russian ballet and our comprehensive Summer
Intensive curriculum includes ballet, pointe,
variations, pas de deux and character.
Our three-week 2008 Summer
Intensive Program will run from
July 7 - 25, 2008, Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m.
to 4:30 p.m.
The Summer Intensive Program is
open to students ages 9 to 22. No audition required. Our
downtown Wilmington studios are located less than ten
blocks from I-95 and the Wilmington Amtrak station.

2008 Children’s Summer Workshop
Our
one-week Children’s Summer Workshop will run from
Monday,
July
28 through
Friday, August 1, 2008, from
10:30 a.m.
to
2:30 p.m.
The program is open to
students ages 4-8 and will focus on ballet and ballet
arts and crafts, with a performance on the final day.
Tuition is $175.00 (students
should bring own lunch). A $50.00 deposit is due by
May 1, 2008; the balance is due July 7.
Girls should wear tights,
leotard, pink ballet shoes, and wear their hair in a
bun. Boys should wear a t-shirt, tights and black or
white ballet shoes.
