DanceWorks!, First State Ballet Theatre’s acclaimed program of free ballet education, serves almost 350 students from seven Wilmington elementary and pre-schools. Through high energy, weekly lessons in FBT’s studios, students learn much more than ballet. They develop strength, coordination, concentration, discipline and respect for others. The DanceWorks! year is capped by an in-theater performance at the Grand where students demonstrate what they’ve learned to enthusiastic, standing room only audiences of family, teachers and friends.
