Following graduation, Lauren danced with The Sarasota Ballet in Sarasota, Florida for two seasons before joining Columbia Classical Ballet in Columbia, South Carolina in 2008. While Lauren was dancing in Columbia, The State, South Carolina’s largest newspaper, recognized her performance as Odette/Odile in Swan Lake as one of the “2011 Moments in Art.” She came to First State Ballet Theatre in 2014, where her roles have included Mercedes in Don Quixote, Marie in The Nutcracker, Myrtha in Giselle and Lilac Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty.
