Jamie Meyer, a Delaware native, began dancing at age three at the YMCA. At age seven, she enrolled at the School of First State Ballet Theatre. Jamie has attended summer intensives at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, D.C. and the JKO School of American Ballet Theatre in New York. She has received scholarship awards from the Kirov Academy of Ballet, the James Jamieson Foundation and the Delaware Dance Festival. Jamie is now entering her sixth season with First State Ballet Theatre and she teaches ballet to students of all ages at studios throughout Delaware.
