Brian Hunter started dancing at 11 years old at a small dance studio in his hometown of Pocatello, ID, where he trained in classical ballet, modern, and contemporary. In his 12 years of training, he has studied at schools including Ballet West, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, and Richmond Ballet, under the direction of Jeff Rogers, Malcolm Burn, Janet Popeleski, Igor Antonov, and Jerri Kumery, among others. Brian has performed in many classical ballets including The Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Swan Lake, Coppélia, La Fille Mal Gardee, and Le Corsaire, as well as contemporary ballets such as Balanchine’s Serenade and Salvatore Aiello’s Journey with Richmond Ballet.
